Logline

A group of teenagers unknowingly enter a gruesome game of survival when they respond to a contest to spend the night in a high school where four students were murdered twenty years earlier.

SYNOPSIS

In 2005, the once-tranquil halls of Hill Valley High School were shattered by a series of brutal murders committed by the school’s janitor, Lewis Smith. Sentenced to the electric chair, Lewis Smith’s stuttered last words – or perhaps warning – “B-B-Be G-G-Good!” – still echoes through the empty corridors.

Flash forward to the present, where six students in detention are rapt as they listen to the true-crime podcast Madmen and Murderers detailing the gruesome murders. At the end of the podcast, a lucrative contest is announced, and the students eagerly enter. The prize? A sum of $20,000 for anyone brave enough to spend an entire night in the abandoned and boarded-up Hill Valley High School – where Lewis Smith stalked and murdered his prey.

As midnight approaches, the students enter Hill Valley with unsuspecting enthusiasm. Instructed to don the ominous coveralls and death masks provided, an unsettling atmosphere settles over the group. Guided by the eerie instructions broadcast over the school’s intercom, the students must survive six rounds of the seemingly harmless game. As each round brings them closer to the truth behind Lewis Smith’s reign of terror, however, they have the chilling realization that all is not as it seems.

With each passing hour, tensions mount, and alliances shift. But as the night wears on and the body count rises, it becomes clear that outside forces are at play. And in a desperate bid for survival, the remaining contestants must join forces to survive the dark legacy of Hill Valley High.
